GLOBAL ISSUES IN EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY LEADERSHIP

Professor: Dr. Christopher Shamburg

This course investigates educational technology from a global perspective.  The issues covered will include development strategies, diversity, cultural values, and the systemic role educational technology plays in global economic development.  The course will focus on a cross-cultural examination of contemporary academic and workplace skills.

Comparative Education

This paper looks at and compares the educational systems in six different countries: Singapore, China, India, Chile, Mexico, and the United States

Comparative Education: The Netherlands

This paper takes at look at the Steve Jobs school, located in Amsterdam

Pearson Initiative & Comparative Educational Paradigms

This paper looks at the Pearson Initiative in the Philippines through the lenses of Liberal Capitalism, Marxism, and Post-colonialism

Curriculum Project

This was a group project with myself, Tulay Altin, Steven Wong, and Damiano Mastrandrea that focused on English Language Learners in the United States

PISA Project

This paper examines the OECD averages of Greece in scores, standings, policies, reactions, and politics from the 2012 and 2015 PISA reports
