STATISTICS FOR EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH
Professor: Dr. Mark Connelly
Competence in applying, synthesizing, and evaluating statistics from sources including the dissertation, journals, technical reports, and Web sites is the main focus of this session. Emphasis on the scholarship of teaching, projects will move from basic to context-driven statistics and apply the fundamental concepts and procedures of descriptive and inferential statistics to real-world applications.
Assessment 1: Methods Literature Review
For this assignment, 5 peer-reviewed journal articles were selected and their methods were analyzed
Assessment 2: Analysis of the Data
This assessment used the same 5 journal articles from Assessment 1, but this time their major findings were analyzed
Assessment 3: Final Project and PowerPoint Presentation
This final assessment called for creating a research proposal based on the topic of my choice along with compiling a PowerPoint presentation presenting my research proposal, research questions, and methodology
